Stevie Wonder, Superstition

Hoping to find a spare hour to watch this much-vaunted Stevie Wonder doco tonight.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket at the last minute to see Mr Wonder last year, right up the front in the best seats I’ve ever had at rotten old Vector Arena. He was, as you’d imagine, sublime… although with all these old geezers, you do wish you’d been able to see them at the height of their powers (for instance, Leonard Cohen: spectacular but also very close to cheese in many parts; Blondie: great value but – dare I say it – a little, erm, uncool; James Brown: arthritic…)

And on that note, have my favourite YouTube video ever. Stevie’s still super-cool, of course – but he was never cooler than this.
